If the piercing kit is in sterile packaging, go for it. The self piercing kit is comparable with the piercng gun at the jeweller, the stud went in very quick, you probaly feel a soft tweak, and hear a plopp, that's all. Which way do you get you first holes? Maybe there will be the reason, for your hesitate.
Let us know what you've done. How do you feel?

My holes were made in a tiny room in a jewellers shop with a needle. The first hole went ok but the second hole went crooked and i have always had to fiddle to get one of my earrings in.

I can't remember how long it took to heal. What is the healing time like with the home piercing kits? Can you wear gold studs straight away or do you have to leave the piercing studs in for a while?

I'm still not at all sure. I don't want it done for me certainly. Does anyone know why it is so important for men? (or is it just my partner?)

Some men just like this stuff, just like other men like cheeseburgers, it's as simple or as difficult to explain as that.

Why do some men love cheeseburgers? You just have to accept they do.

I think the best will be if you one day come home double in both ears, and surprice yours husband with double.

The healing time took 6 weeks, then you can change the piercing studs. It is the same whether you get pierced by your nusband, or pierced at the Jeweller.
Every men wants an attractive wife.

Thanks for this. I still don't know if I will get it done. I feel I'm being bullied. It sounds like 6 weeks of discomfort while it heals. Has anyone else got any views? Should I just do it anyway?

Silly Bunny,

My ears are triple pierced and I love wearing three hoops in each ear daily as I am a very girlie girl who loves jewelry. I would suggest that if you are going to have your ears pierced a second time that you get them done with a hollow piercing needle of at least 16 gauge; the needle cuts out the hole rather than a piercing stud being forced through the flesh. The slight momentary amount of pain is well worth the satisfaction you will gain.

It tweaks a little bit, less than a hour after you get it done, this is the only discomfort. The next 6 weeks you have to wear your piercing stud, so that the sore can heal. After 6 Weeks you can wear what you want.

Did you ever wear the tiny gold stu in one of you holes?
Can you imagine how will it look when you wear this stud in your second hole. If nit then tast it, an mad your partner happy.

If' ve pleased my husband too, I got double pierced. My husband gave me a ear piercing voucher for my birthday, it took nearly a year until I get it done. I'm glad to have it done.

Skirtlady: how many piercings do you get? Do you husband convinced you? how long does it took until you get your ears done?

What sort of earrings do you wear? Are studs the best for second holes?Do second piercing holes look neater than the first if you only ever wear small studs (does this stop them getting stretched)? What is the earliest you can take the piercing studs out and not have them heal over?

I wear small silver suds in my second holes. In my First holes I change between pearls, silver studs and hoops. If i wear pearls, I wear them in my first holes and nothing in my second holes. Mostly I wear small studs in all holes, I think this will be the reason that my holes aren't stretched.
I think after 4 until 6 weeks the holes are healed, then you can change the studs.
My second holes i got pierced with small silver studs, I wear this studs more than a year.

I've pleased my husband too! I got my left lobe double pierced, and my right pierced four times. He want it that way, so I did it. Usualy I wear diamond studs in all holes. When we are having sex, I wear very big hoops in all piercings. This hurts realy bad, but it turns on my husband so I do it for him!
