I am wearing a sarong at present and have worn kilt and shorts during the day.
Older men who have secure familey relationships, friendships and a proven track records in their profession are likely to be more confident in dressing how they wish.
I accept that business meetings with clients have to involve dress code that wins the confidence of the client, but at all other times, people should be free to dress comfortably and practically to suit the situation. |

I have only worn sarongs and a denim kilt to date. I may get a denim skirt at some time. They are much lighter weight than a kilt and have pockets to keep all the wallet and key sorts of things that we men need. I already have a Scottish National Tartan traditional kilt on order - a belated 60th birthday present from my wife. She loves to see men in kilts. |

Fashion Freedom : the notion that everybody - men and women - should have the right to wear whatever they like, [or not - I support the ideal of more public nudity, as well - I'm all in favour of more public nudity - the more the merrier, I say...] in their own time, and giving due regard to work, safety, and cultural/social needs...

Well stated, Bushwalker.
It's either Fashion Freedom (my choice) or restrictive dress code tyranny (a small minority of other posters seem to prefer this).
Long live Fashion Freedom. |
