I'm 24 and recently got a job as a Sales Executive. This means travelling around visiting new and existing customers in offices. For my first year I go round with an experienced guy called Steve for training. I'm really enjoying it. I usually wear a blouse and knee length skirt. I get on really well with Steve. One time we were chatting and he said to me you know you will get more sales if you were a short skirt for cutomer visits. We're selling transport services and almost all the customers are male. I was a bit surprised but I said are you sure. I said I don't do stockings or tights and my legs are quite pale. Doesn't a short skirt and pale bare legs look tarty. He said no way your legs look great. Not everyone is into fake tans. So I took his advice and started wearing short skirts. We always make sure I get to sit were the customer gets a good look at my legs. And it works, we are both getting more sales and earning more commission. Is there any problem with this. I don't see any. I don't care who looks at my legs any more than who looks at my arms.

It may not be ideal in this day in age but sex sells, and if you're quite comfortable with showing a little more leg in order to make a few more pounds then who can blame you.

I know a few other girls in sales or medical/pharmaceutical rep positions and they are stunning, think it's a pre-requisite togetting into the job!

I'm just out of school and looking for some way to make a bit of cash without working my rear off! I was reading this section of posts and noted the comments by topcat, sally and emma. Quite interesting! I think selling might be a neat job for me since I hate physical labor. What really caught my attention was the comments about dressing sexy. I know this was regarding ladies, but I wonder if I could do it in reverse selling TO women? I've always worn very short shorts all through school and got a lot of teasing for it! I've never liked trousers, especially long ones and presently don't own any long ones. I got a suit a couple years ago, dark blue jacket with matching very short shorts and a knee length very straight skirt, no long pants. I ordered it for a prom and wore it with a frilly girl's bow blouse and the shorts. Had a ball and got a great response from the gals, but the lads gave me some grief! The skirt might not be acceptable for business, but I think the outfit with the shorts, white stockings (short) a lads dress shirt and tie, might get me a long way in sales to ladies. Any of you have ideas on this? I'm only 19 and need guidance. I do shave my legs, in case you wondered! Hairy legs look awful in shorts. I keep a nice tan all year long (sun in summer, from a bottle in winter). Ladies, does this sort of thing have the same effect on you as your doing it does on men? Or would I just be looked on as a pervert? I'd love to try it!

Why in blazes did you ever order a suit with shorts and a skirt if you are a male? Two pair of shorts, maybe, but a skirt! Yes, you would be looked on as a perv, or worse! Don't even think about it.

I see a lot of medical reps. They do look very sexy in their business suits, but I can't let that colour my judgment no matter what I see, and I've seen a lot!! ..knickers, stockings, tights, tattoos, nothing at all, hairy, shaved etc... my favourite was a see through white shirt, with a balconette cup bra under it showing the top half of a fine pair of nipples!!

Its not so much short skirts as even a knee length will look smart and demure, but when the wearer has a nicely rounded bottom, the skirt rides up quite far as they sit in front of me..

Memories!!!!

Men should be able to wear skirts and kilts if they want to. You can get skirts and kilts that coordinate into a male wardrobe and don't look feminine. Ladies can wear what they like, anyway, so why don't we.

There are lots of men who want to wear unbifurcated garments.
Let's end the tie and trouser tyranny that has been forced on men.
