Crack open an Easter treat from Oxfam Unwrapped

If you’re bored of the usual Easter treats and the thought of one more piece of chocolate is too much to bear, look no further than the fun and unusual gifts on offer in the Oxfam Unwrapped Spring/Summer catalogue.

This year, rather than the usual countless chocolate eggs and fluffy bunnies, why not show your loved one how much you really care and give the gift of growing.

Plant an allotment package (£24) enables people to feed themselves and their families; food growing packs (£65) help aid growing again after disaster with kits containing essential tools, farming tips, grains and seeds.

Your Easter gift could also be used to relieve the burden of fetching and carrying large loads over long distances with the ultimate kick-ass present - a donkey (£50) and there is some free fertiliser thrown in for good measure.

Every gift in the catalogue has been identified as essential by the poor communities Oxfam works with around the world.

Launched in 2004, and having since sold over 1,000,000 gifts, Oxfam Unwrapped is still the first stop for original and unusual gifts.
