Osman Yousefzada may be busy preparing for his London Fashion Week show tomorrow but the designer will soon have another big job on his hands as he has been asked to show his collection at Palais Royale in Paris by haute couture authority Didier Ludot, Vogue.com reports.

Yousefzada told Vogue.com: "It's my first event in Paris, and it is such an honour to be asked by Didier Ludot. They plan to create this amazing dialogue over six windows in the Palais Royal combining my designs with vintage masterpieces from Pierre Cardin, Claude Montana and Thierry Mugler."

He added: ""The fact that it will take place during Paris Fashion week makes it even more exciting."

It is a real honour for the designer from Birmingham as in the past many prestigious designers have exhibited on the request of Ludot including Zac Posen and Alexis Mabille.

Yousefzada met Ludot after his last show at LFW where Ludot was apparently taken with the structured style of Yousefzada's pieces.

Yousefzada says of his designs: "I think my designs are very much a product of Great Britain: a fusion of cultures, which combines to create something quite intellectual, modern and yet still wearable."
