Former G Unit members Game and Young Buck reunited on an NYC stage the other night showing unity after being publicly ousted by their former label boss 50 Cent.
Game performed at the Irving Plaza in Manhattan to promote the release of his third album LAX.
He also brought out on stage to perform with him and his Black Wall Street crew various other NY celebrities including founder of Hip-Hop DJ Kool Herc.
Former Death Row founder Suge Knight was arrested in Los Angeles on various charges yesterday.
The label boss was picked up after a fight broke out between him and his girlfriend of three years which saw the 250 pound plus kick the female in the head as he wielded a knife.
He was arrested and detained on charges of domestic violence, possession of a controlled drug which was discovered on the rapper when they took him to a local Detention Center.
The future of the label which Knight founded along with Dr Dre is still currently in grey territory since Knight filed for bankruptcy in 2006. It was reported that the company was bought by Susan Berg in auction in May of this year for a disappointing $24 million.
The label played home to Tupac, Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg and saw the sales of over fifty million records at the height of it success.
It is ten years this week since Fuggee front woman Lauryn Hill released her multi-platinum album The Mis-Education of Lauryn Hill.
The groundbreaking project which saw Ms Hill win 5 Grammy awards in the 1999 event put her down in history as one of the biggest selling female rappers of all time.
The mother of five has never been able to rekindle the flame that burned for her in the late nineties but her husband Rohan Marley, son of the legendary reggae icon Bob Marley is adamant that his wife is back at work.
The Mis-education famed for tracks such as Doo Wop, Zion and Everything is Everything sold over 19 million copies worldwide.
Jay Z announced yesterday that he was selling his 40/40 club in Las Vegas for an undisclosed amount. The rapper who has just been tipped to open the newly refurbished Hollywood Palladium in mid October for Live Nation is happy with the deal secured for the 40/40 club.
The Brooklyn rapper who opened the venue in 2006 has plans to take the 40/40 brand all over the world to places such as Tokyo, London and a new haunt in Chicago.
Jay Z was recently ranked number two on the Forbes list of top earners in Hip-Hop making a staggering $82 million in the last year. He was beaten for the top spot by fellow New Yorker 50 Cent who turned over a whopping $150 million in the last financial year.
