Hull FC coach will not wait forever for prop Garreth Carvell to decide on his new contract offer.
The Black and Whites have made the 28-year-old former Great Britain international an offer.
Carvell's campaign has been ruined by injuries and he is out of contract at the end of the year.
He only recently returned to action after suffering ruptured knee ligaments in the opening game of the season at home to Warrington.
Carvell is the club's longest serving player having joined at the start of the season 2001 from Leeds Rhinos and has made over 150 appearances for the Black and Whites.
