Shayne Ward knew he'd be voted off 'Dancing on Ice' regardless of how well he performed in the skate-off.
The former 'X Factor' winner found himself in the bottom two alongside Matt Lapinskas and despite the 'EastEnders' actor falling during his routine, three of the four judges still voted to save him.
Fans of the ITV show were furious, claiming it was fixed in favour of Matt, and Shayne admits he didn't stand a chance.
He said: "I knew I was going regardless. I knew I was going to come second to Matt.
"I completely understand that [why fans thought it was a fix] but I can't make up the judges' minds. Jason voted for me and he said a 'save me skate' needs to be perfect. Yeah I think so but it's their decision and I couldn't have swayed them."
Jason Gardiner was the only judge to save Shayne and he said he made his decision purely on the skate-off.
Speaking about how Pamela Anderson was axed in week one after her stumble, he said: "In the skate-off mistakes should count.
"We got rid of Pammy and it should be no different. Stick to the rules."
An ITV spokesman said: "Three of the judges felt Matt gave the stronger performance despite the fact that he stumbled."
