Noel Gallagher wants Christopher Maloney to win 'The X Factor' to see him have a "nervous breakdown".
The former Oasis star has been enjoying this year's series of the ITV1 talent show and while he thinks it would be "great" to see the Liverpool-born crooner's reaction if he triumphed in Sunday's (09.12.12) grand final in Manchester, he believes James Arthur should come out on top.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I've been watching 'X Factor' and I wouldn't mind seeing the Scouser win, because it'd be great to watch him have a nervous breakdown.
"But I also think James Arthur should win. That lad's the best out of them all. I do like 'The X Factor', I've got to say, for my sins."
Christopher recently admitted he would purchase his nan a new kitchen if he was successful in Manchester against James and Jahmene Douglas.
He told BANG Showbiz: "If I win I'm going to buy my nan a new kitchen as hers is falling apart!"
Following his comments, bookmakers Paddy Power are offering odds of 20/1 for Christopher's nan to appear on stage during the final, and they are priced at 14/1 for a finalist to forget at least two words of one of their songs during the series conclusion.
Online bookmakers 888sport.com are also offering special 'X Factor' odds including 7/1 for the programme not to return next year and 5/1 for the finalist to get the Christmas number one.
