Paul Weller recorded a live concert for a new TV series on Friday (09.11.12).

The rocker performed at the iconic London studios - where The Beatles recorded many of their albums - for upcoming Channel 4 show 'Abbey Road Studios: in Session with Volkswagen Beetle'.

Paul performed a set list littered with highlights from his four decade spanning career including The Jam track 'Carnation', 'Friday Street' and a cover version of Marvin Gaye's 'How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You)'.

The 54-year-old musician's special performance will be aired on Channel 4 and 4OD on November 14 and will be a 45-minute special.

It will then be followed by weekly 30-minute episodes with sessions by established and emerging artists including Alt-J, Django Django, The Maccabees, Foals, Biffy Clyro, The Vaccines and Two Door Cinema Club.

Channel 4 and Abbey Road Studios have teamed-up with Volkswagen to create the series in celebration of the return of the iconic Volkswagen Beetle car.
